My motto is

“You can do anything you set your mind to, it takes hard work, determination and a great support team around you!”

“I started running aged 12 year old, mentored by Trevor Rodwell my teacher at Brockhill School and joined Ashford AC. Whilst at school highlights included winning County and Schools titles over X-Country and the most memorable was finishing 3rd at the National X-Country Schools TSB Final. In 2001 I took up the offer of a 4 year full time athletic scholarship to the USA and went to Oklahoma State University and Hawaii Pacific University. Graduated and returned to the UK in 2004, turned attention to racing longer distances and became a police officer. “Ultimately I wanted to attempt the marathon and pursue my lifetime goal of beating my dads best time over the marathon of 2hr 48.”
